The Boston Breakers continue to rebuild their roster in the offseason, this time with the signing of 24-year-old defender Amanda Frisbie.
The Breakers signed Frisbie as a discovery player, meaning she was not presently on an NWSL roster and her rights did not belong to any NWSL team.
Frisbie comes to Boston from Stjarnan in Iceland, where she was playing as a center back and helped the team earn a league championship. Before that she had a short stint with FC Kansas City in 2016, and before that a few games for the Western New York Flash (now the North Carolina Courage) in 2015.
