Arnór Traustason upset with missed opportunity against Philadelphia

Arnór Traustason was unable to get on the scoreboard but had a solid performance in New England’s 1-1 draw with the Philadelphia Union on Thursday night. Still, the 28-year-old wasn’t pleased with his performance.

Traustason played 79 minutes, completed 86% of his passes, and had 40 touches on the night. It was a quality performance for a player that has yet to play a full 90 minutes for his new club.

But Traustason did have a chance to get on the scoresheet. In the 63rd minute, the Icelandic attacker was one-on-one with a Philly defender and tried to curl a shot past Andre Blake.
