It has been an exciting two days for Arnór Traustason. One day after being announced as the latest signee for the New England Revolution, the 27-year-old attacker was informed that he would be representing his home country of Iceland in the upcoming UEFA 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers happening later this month.
The Keflavik native looks to add to his impressive international resume which includes 37 caps along with 5 goals for Iceland.
Revs fans may remember Traustason from Iceland’s 2016 EURO’s appearance where Arnór scored a game-winning goal in stoppage time against Austria that sent Iceland into the knockout stage of the competition.
