FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The Revolution's Under-19 team advanced to the Allstate U.S. Soccer Development Academy Winter Cup Quarterfinal over the weekend by winning its group. New England's U-19 side, which compiled an unbeaten 1-0-2 record and plus-two goal differential in group play, will travel to Kansas City in April 2020 for the knockout phase of the tournament.
Led by Head Coach Marcelo Santos, the U-19s played to draws against the Houston Dynamo and Crossfire Premier, before claiming the top spot in Group E with a 3-0 win against Pateadores in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. on Saturday. Two Revolution Homegrown Players, Nicolas Firmino and Damian Rivera, featured in all three games and helped lead the squad to its finish atop the group.
