The speculation surrounding star wide receiver Cooper Kupp's next destination has finally come to an end. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the former Super Bowl MVP is signing with the Seattle Seahawks.
The New England Patriots were believed to be one of many teams in the mix to land Kupp, but according to The Athletic's Jeff Howe, the 31-year-old receiver's asking price reached as high as $15 million per year.
It didn't seem as if the Patriots were willing to break the bank in pursuit of Kupp the same way they were with other recently signed free agents on their roster.
