FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- With the New England Patriots' game against the Oakland Raiders scheduled to be played Nov. 19 in Mexico City, the Patriots have joined the NFL Foundation, Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers in contributing $200,000 to Banorte's Fundación Banorte to support disaster relief efforts following last month's earthquake in Mexico City.
Fundación Banorte will match the donation, according to a news release from the NFL. Funds will be used to help rebuild homes affected by the earthquake in and around Mexico City.
On Wednesday, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was asked about playing in Mexico and said, "That's going to be very exciting for our team.
