On Saturday morning, news broke that the New York Giants released fullback Henry Hynoski. Seeing as how the New England Patriots will be without James Develin for the 2015 season, there’s a chance that the Patriots will pursue the veteran.
It should be noted that the Patriots worked out rookie fullback Joey Iosefa on Friday, leading one to believe that the team is on the hunt for a Develin replacement. Maybe Iosefa is their man, but Hynoski is a proven veteran worthy of consideration.
Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Giants back in 2011, Hynoski was a fan favorite during his time in New York, as evidenced by these forlorn tweets by Giants fans in the wake of his release.
