Former Clemson standout Will Shipley had an impressive showing in the Philadelphia Eagles' preseason game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough Thursday night.
Shipley had five carries for 15 yards to go with four receptions for 31 yards, including a 19-yard pickup on a screen pass from quarterback Tanner McKee early in the second quarter in the Eagles' 14-13 victory over New England.
He made his NFL debut in the Eagles' preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Aug. 8 and had seven carries for 23 yards. In that game, Shipley had a 7-yard touchdown catch from Kenny Pickett late in the first quarter for his first career NFL touchdown.
