Will Patriots regret passing on low price to reunite with All-Pro OL?

The New England Patriots almost reunited with All-Pro guard Joe Thuney before a trade was agreed on in principle to send him to the Chicago Bears.

However, according to NFL insider Albert Breer, the Patriots did not meet the asking price from the Chiefs, which was a 2026 fourth-round draft pick.

"Yes, they talked to the Chiefs about Joe Thuney. Obviously, they wouldn't meet their price, which seems a little crazy given their offensive line and the fact that this is a future fourth-round pick," said Breer, via NBC Sports Boston.
