The New England Patriots are reportedly not expected to hire a new general manager after splitting with Bill Belichick. That has left many to question how the organization will operate on the personnel side of things.
Patriots director of player personnel Matt Groh and director of scouting Eliot Wolf are expected to have expanded roles when it comes to those decisions. However, according to MassLive’s Mark Daniels, a source theorized the possibility of newly-hired coach Jerod Mayo also having a say in the personnel decisions.
