There was a report last week from the Washington Post that Washington coach Jay Gruden may have been coaching for his job against the New York Giants.
Washington fell to 0-4, and as of this writing Gruden is still the team’s head coach.
While Gruden pulled ineffective journeyman Case Keenum in the second quarter on Sunday and gave rookie first-rounder Dwayne Haskins his first NFL snaps, it may not be Haskins’ team – not yet.
Could Colt McCoy start Sunday vs. Patriots?
On Monday, NFL Network reported that Gruden may start the team’s other journeyman QB, Colt McCoy, against the New England Patriots.
