Tom Brady will be on the call for Fox on Sunday when Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs try to win their fourth Super Bowl in five years.
Another Chiefs triumph over the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX would still put Mahomes three titles behind Brady’s legendary resume.
But chatter over comparisons between the two quarterbacks and Mahomes’ ability to supplant Brady as the greatest to ever do it will only grow louder if Mahomes becomes the first QB in NFL history to complete a three-peat on Sunday.
As such, it’s only natural to expect that Brady isn’t rooting for another Mahomes victory, given the potential challenge to his own legacy.
