Don’t expect Patriots quarterback Tom Brady to address questions about increased involvement from his trainer and business partner Alex Guerrero any time soon.
Brady, who has been keeping quiet about the subject throughout the preseason, will likely continue his streak of dodging the topic into the regular season. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Patriots and Brady have “reached a compromise” on Guerrero — alleviating the reported growing rift between Brady and coach Bill Belichick — and the key is to stay mum about the arrangement moving forward.
“They really just need to be kind of quiet about it, not make such a big deal,” Rapoport said on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” Sunday morning.
