The 2024 NFL Draft is only days away and it appears the Patriots are forming some idea of what they plan to do with the No. 3 overall pick.
The “most likely scenario” is that the Patriots stand pat and select a quarterback, ESPN’s Mike Reiss wrote in his Sunday notes column.
As the Patriots reportedly lean toward picking a quarterback, that decision isn’t much of a surprise. However, Patriots director of scouting and de facto general manager Eliot Wolf told reporters at the team’s pre-draft press conference that the team was “open for business” on trades, including possibly moving the No.
