Both teams have started their 2024 campaigns with 1-2 records through the first three weeks, but while San Francisco has underperformed, they're clearly the more talented team.
As of Friday night, New England is a 10.5-point underdog for this Week 4 matchup, which is something that the franchise isn't used to over the last two decades.
According to The Boston Herald's Andrew Callahan, this is just the fifth time since the turn of the century that the Patriots have been more than 10-point underdogs.
