Jerod Mayo’s tenure as the head coach of the New England Patriots has come to an end after just one year with the team.
The team announced that Mayo was fired on Sunday, shortly after the 2024 season ended with a 23-16 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Despite the win, the Patriots ended the year with a dismal 4-13 record, marking one of the franchise’s worst seasons in recent history.
