The New England Patriots appear to have their franchise quarterback in Drake Maye, which doesn’t leave much room for Jacoby Brissett.
The veteran quarterback likely wants a fresh start after going 1-4 in his second stint with the Patriots in 2024. And one NFL analyst believes that could happen with another AFC team.
“In this scenario, Brissett again takes on the role of a bridge quarterback who could mentor a young signal-caller,” ESPN’s Seth Walder wrote. “I think the Titans, who have a new general manager and thus have time on their side, will trade down with the Giants and select a quarterback either at the tail end of the first round or on Day 2.
