What to know about Shea McClellin, who reportedly signed three-year deal with New England Patriots

The New England Patriots made three signings during the first week of NFL free agency, inking linebacker Ramon Humber, wide receiver Chris Hogan and defensive end Frank Kearse.

In the past five hours, they've come through with three more moves -- signing running back Donald Brown, trading for tight end Martellus Bennett and signing linebacker Shea McClellin, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Schefter reported that McClellin and the Pats agreed on a three-year deal, so the appears to be in their long-term plans.

We'll have more on each acquisition, but here's preliminary information on McClellin, a former first-round pick who played several positions in Chicago.
