The New England Patriots have already given veteran defensive tackle Davon Godchaux permission to seek a trade. That has left some wondering what Godchaux's trade value would be if a deal ultimately gets done.
Godchaux signed a two-year, $18 million contract extension last July. He ended up serving as the team's top defensive tackle while Christian Barmore was sidelined with blood clot issues. The team obviously missed Barmore's presence in a year where the defensive line underperformed.
Godchaux recorded 67 combined tackles and one pass deflection in his work up front. The Patriots ranked in the bottom half of the league in run defense with opponents averaging 131.
