Wide receiver Josh Gordon re-introduced himself to Patriots fans Sunday night.
In the first quarter against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the 6-foot-3, 225-pound wideout broke a pair of tackles to power his way into the end zone for the opening score of the game. The 20-yard reception was one of three catches on the night for Gordon, who also hauled in a 44-yarder in traffic in the third quarter.
“I’ll get him the ball whenever I can,” Brady said after New England’s 33-3 win. “It’s great to have him out there. He’s a dynamic player, and every game that we play together, there’s just more things that come up [and] there’s more trust that’s built.
