FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The combination of New England Patriots center Bryan Stork being eligible to come off the short-term injured reserve list next week and rookie right guard Tre' Jackson leaving Thursday's game in the fourth quarter with a left knee injury (severity not currently known) has sparked the natural question: Could Stork or undrafted center David Andrews potentially factor into the guard mix?
Andrews has been one of the team's more pleasant surprises this season, playing every snap and competing against some of the NFL's top players, such as Thursday against Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (the first play of the game, he angled him to the outside on LeGarrette Blount's 8-yard run).
