The Patriots landed a third-round pick. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Falcons got one of the worst seasons of Judon’s career -- certainly the worst since he was a rookie. Now, the 32-year-old linebacker is heading to free agency.
Judon was the shining star of the Patriots defense, with his dynamic personality making him a hit with fans in New England. But after a preseason contract dispute last summer, he was traded to Atlanta.
Since then, the four-time Pro Bowler’s shine has faded in the cloud of one of the NFL’s worst pass rushes.
