Drake Maye made some progress in his NFL development for the New England Patriots in an improved effort in Thursday's pregame matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
New England's executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf made an investment in Maye with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. After two preseason games, Wolf shared his latest read on the rookie quarterback.
"Yeah, it was good to see him get in the other night," Wolf told reporters at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, per team-provided video. "It was really good to see how calm and collected he was.
