Drake Maye made two of the most noteworthy plays at Patriots practice on Friday. One went in his favor, and the other did not.
Maye hit fellow rookie Ja’Lynn Polk down the sideline on a play-action pass for a big gain. Polk jumped for the ball and caught it with both hands as he crashed to the ground. The throw was a bit wobbly, but it still made its way to its intended target.
Maye praised Polk for his efforts to rack the ball down.
“He made a nice catch,” Maye said.
