Things got significantly more interesting in the New England Patriots' running back room with the team drafting Ohio State's TreVeyon Henderson in the second round on Friday.
It was a surprise pick for a Patriots team that just signed veteran Rhamondre Stevenson to a four-year, $36 million extension last year. The team also has another proven veteran in Antonio Gibson under contract as well.
Henderson could settle in as a strong complementary option for a potential three-headed monster at running back in New England. But make no mistake, the former First-Team All-Big 10 running back is a do-everything playmaker with the potential to steal the show in the backfield.
