The Eagles stars will most likely have the bubble wrap on once again for their preseason game Thursday night against the New England Patriots.
That's because the Eagles had a joint practice session with the Patriots on Tuesday. That's when quarterback Jalen Hurts, running back Saquon Barkley, wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, and four of the five offensive linemen, in addition to cornerback Darius Slay, got their work in.
So this game, much like the preseason opener last Friday against the Ravens, will be about the Eagles' young players and those fighting for roster spots.
