The New England Patriots came up empty on their first series after a missed field goal, giving the Jacksonville Jaguars the football in solid field position. The home team took advantage and the 7-0 lead. To make matters worse, the Patriots also lost one of their key defenders. Trey Flowers stayed on the ground following a second down play that saw teammate Keionta Davis’ knee hit him in the head.
Flowers walked off the field under his own power, and into the blue medical tent. When he emerged, he walked straight into the locker room.
