FOXBORO — Stephen Gostkowski adheres to a simple principle that has made him the NFL’s most reliable bad weather kicker.
“With bad weather it’s kind of mind over matter,” Gostkowski said yesterday. “If you don’t mind then it don’t matter.
“If you can practice in it there shouldn’t be any problem playing in it, so it’s not a big deal for us. As a specialist I would say weather is our biggest competitor compared to the opponents that we are playing. So you just kind of deal with what you got and roll with it and do the best you can.
