The Colorado quarterback is at the center of the biggest story in this year’s draft. Sanders was projected to go as high as early Round 1. But after two days, Sanders is still on the board.
Patriots executive vice president of football operations Eliot Wolf said he was surprised to see that Sanders didn’t go in the first three rounds.
“It’s surprising,” Wolf said. “We evaluated him.
