Prior to the official reveal at the NFL Honors last Thursday, former New England Patriots defensive end Richard Seymour learned of his 2022 Pro Football Hall of Fame selection courtesy of a surprise by teammate and fellow Canton enshrinee, cornerback Ty Law a few days prior.
Law traveled straight to Seymour’s Atlanta, Georgia area home to deliver the news while sporting his own gold jacket from the Hall of Fame.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame later released footage of Law’s big surprise over social media, check out how it went down below.
Seymour joins Tony Boselli, LeRoy Butler, Sam Mills, Bryant Young, Cliff Branch, Art McNally, and Dick Vermeil in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2022.
