The Dropkick Murphys shipped up to Seattle on Wednesday for a performance at the WaMu Theatre. Before they took the stage, however, the Quincy-bred punk band stopped by CenturyLink Field to have some fun on the home turf of the Seahawks.
As an homage to Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler’s game-saving interception in the closing seconds of Super Bowl XLIX, the group lined up at the goal line and reenacted the play. The Patriots won Super Bowl XLIX, 28-24, in Glendale, Ariz.
