WATCH: Matthew Slater gives Nick Folk a history lesson on Patriots' snow games

With Tom Brady gone, Matthew Slater is the Patriots' elder statesman. Translation: He's seen pretty much everything during his New England tenure.

So, as snow began to fall Sunday at Gillette Stadium during the Patriots' season finale against the New York Jets, kicker Nick Folk asked the special teams ace how many "heavy" snow games he's played in over the course of 13 seasons with the Patriots.

Slater immediately recalled a December 2010 game in Chicago in which the Patriots blitzed the Bears 36-7 amid a fierce blizzard.
