Talk about your dark-horse hero.
Jame White, who was throughout the season the Patriots’ third option at running back, scored two touchdowns in the Patriots’ 25-point second-half comeback against the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.
Then, in overtime, he scored a third. A pitch from the two-yard line, White’s touchdown run gave the Patriots a 34-28 win — and the franchise’s fifth Super Bowl victory.
IT'S OVER! IT'S OVER!
