The New England Patriots selected LSU wideout Kayshon Boutte in the sixth round with the 187th overall pick. The former college football star joins New England and gives quarterback Mac Jones a new weapon to throw to.
There was a time when Boutte was considered a first-round talent. However, effort level is a big concern with him, and it seems as though that was one of the major reasons why he fell. He managed to put up productive numbers in Baton Rouge. He played in 27 games in three seasons, catching 131 passes for 1,782 yards and 18 touchdowns.
