FOXBOROUGH, Mass. —
New England Patriots great Vince Wilfork, who won two Super Bowls in 11 seasons with the organization, is now enshrined in the team's Hall of Fame.
Wilfork, 40, officially became the 32nd member of the Patriots Hall of Fame during his induction ceremony on Saturday.
A large number of fans gathered in Enel Plaza, the area outside Gillette Stadium near the Patriots Hall of Fame, to watch the former defensive lineman put on his red jacket.
Wilfork delivered a heartfelt speech that brought many in the crowd to tears. The Hall of Famer was brought to tears several times himself as he told the story of a difficult child and the loss of both his parents in 2002 while he was playing at the University of Miami.
