During the New England Patriots win over the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday, a key factor to victory was the success of the defense in containing quarterback Kyler Murray.
Murray finished the game with 170 passing yards on 23-of-34 attempts with zero touchdown passes, one interception and a 67.0 passer rating, his lowest in any game this season.
The Patriots defense also pulled off an impressive goal line stand just before the half, stuffing running back Kenyan Drake on a fourth-and-1 to prevent the Cardinals from adding to their 10-7 lead.
In the latest episode of “NFL Turning Point” this week, NFL Films takes a look back at the Patriots dominating performance, specifically another key period of the game when safety Adrian Phillips intercepted Murray in the third quarter which lead to a go ahead touchdown by James White, the Patriots first lead of the day.
