Former New England Patriots cornerback Asante Samuel appeared on the I AM ATHLETE podcast recently, and shared a story about his former head coach Bill Belichick. The Patriots and Belichick decided to put the franchise tag on Samuel back in 2007, and he apparently was not happy about it. He held out for most of the summer before signing the tag and delivering an All-Pro season, leaving New England for Philadelphia in 2008.
