Tight end Mitchell Wilcox and defensive tackle Trysten Hill reverted to the New England Patriots’ practice squad on Monday after taking the field at Levi’s Stadium.
Both veterans served as standard elevations for the 30-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Wilcox, 27, worked as the third tight end behind Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper as rookie Jaheim Bell became a healthy scratch on Sunday. He played 17 snaps on special teams in his 2024 debut. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound South Florida alum had signed to the practice squad after being released at the NFL’s 53-man roster deadline in August.
