The New England Patriots are reportedly re-signing veteran tight end Austin Hooper to a one-year, $5 million deal. The contract has potential earnings of up to $7 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Hooper signed with the Patriots as a free agent in 2024. He became a proven target for the organization, recording 45 catches for 476 yards and three touchdowns. He was a key component of the tight end room and helped supplement the Patriots' two-tight end attack.
This marks the second move on a relatively busy Sunday for the organization. The Patriots also agreed to a three-year deal with former Tennessee Titans linebacker Harold Landry III.
