Veteran linebacker Joe Giles-Harris has reverted to the New England Patriots’ practice squad after serving as a standard elevation versus the New York Jets.
What became a 24-3 loss at MetLife Stadium on Thursday night marked his 2024 debut.
Giles-Harris, 27, checked in to play nine snaps on defense in the absence of injured team captain Ja’Whaun Bentley. While having a hand in a pair of tackles against rookie running back Braelon Allen, he also handled 67 percent of the workload on special teams.
The 6-foot-2, 234-pound linebacker had spent the entirety of 2023 on the practice squad in Foxborough.
