ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — After six seasons in New York, Rex Ryan is proving his colorful one-man show can be a hit off Broadway, too.
The Buffalo Bills coach opened his news conference Tuesday wearing a Clemson helmet and suggesting he had nothing to talk about. He then proceeded to touch on a wide range of topics in preparing to face his former team Thursday night for the first time since he was fired by the Jets.
The nod to Clemson was in honor of his son, Seth, a member of the nation's top-ranked Tigers.
Ryan defended his decision to designate defensive end IK Enemkpali a co-captain after the player was cut by the Jets for breaking quarterback Geno Smith's jaw.
