The New England Patriots’ ceremony for long-time starting quarterback Tom Brady left little to be desired.
All of Gillette Stadium was on its feet when the 45-year-old entered the field to his traditional walk-on song, Public Service Announcement by Jay-Z. Brady was then introduced by team owner Robert Kraft, who announced that the traditional waiting period for the Patriots Hall of Fame had been waived and that Brady would be inducted on June 12, 2024.
Brady then took the podium, proclaiming once and for all that he would be “a Patriot for life.
