The New England Patriots have formally introduced Jerod Mayo as their new head coach. During a 40-minute press conference on Wednesday, he and team owner Robert Kraft ushered in the organization’s new era after it had been led by Bill Belichick for 24 years.
“I trust that Jerod is the right person to lead the Patriots back to championship level contention and long-term success,” said Kraft in his opening remarks.
