One day after announcing his hire, the New England Patriots have introduced Mike Vrabel as their new head coach. During a 40-minute press conference on Monday, he and team owner Robert Kraft officially turned the page toward the future.
“In the interview process Mike showed us that he had a very deep understanding of our current team,” Kraft said. “Most importantly he had a clear and focused strategy on how to get us back to a championship way.”
“It was clear to me in my soul that this was the place I wanted to be,” said Vrabel during his opening remarks.
