UNC football’s 2024 season opener at Minnesota is in a weather delay.
Kickoff, which was originally scheduled for 8 p.m., is now set for a 9 p.m. start inside Huntington Bank Stadium. The game will be televised on FOX.
With Drake Maye now playing for the NFL’s New England Patriots, both Max Johnson and Conner Harrell are in line to be the Tar Heels’ starting quarterback in the opener. Despite losing Maye, UNC returns several starters, including running back Omarion Hampton and pass rusher Kaimon Rucker.
