Two key Patriots are nearing return from lengthy absences

The New England Patriots have started their 2024 campaign, the first under head coach Jerod Mayo, with a 2-7 record through their first nine games, and it's obvious that they need some help.

Luckily, reinforcements may be on the way.

According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, Patriots offensive lineman Cole Strange is in the "homestretch" of his recovery from a torn patellar tendon that he suffered late last season. Reiss reports that there have been no setbacks in his rehabilitation process.

Strange, New England's 2022 first-round pick out of Tennessee-Chattanooga, hasn't been great at guard since entering the league, but the Patriots could use the help on the interior.
