Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa spoke openly and candidly about what he perceived as the biggest differences between Mike McDaniel and Brian Flores as a head coach.
Flores was hired as the Dolphins coach after winning Super Bowl LIII as the defensive play-caller under Bill Belichick with the New England Patriots. He coached in Miami for three seasons, including Tagovailoa's first two years in the NFL, before he was ultimately fired by the team.
Tagovailoa has excelled more under McDaniel than he ever did under Flores. He was voted to his first Pro Bowl in 2023 after putting together a career-year with 4,624 passing yards, 29 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
