New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones is set to be the face of the franchise at the position. He is in a situation that is similar to the one last franchise quarterback Tom Brady inherited. Some analysts believe the two quarterbacks journeys are comparable.
Speaking on the Zack Gelb Show Wednesday, ESPN analyst Trey Wingo spoke about the parallels he saw between Tom Brady’s rookie season and what Jones is currently going through.
Jones currently sports a 73.9 completion percentage over the course of two games. On that note, two major factors in particular have Wingo thinking back to Brady’s early days as a member of the Patriots.
