The Patriots completed their first practice of training camp. It was held in shorts and shells. Here are the Herald’s observations.
Attendance notes:
Rob Ninkovich and Joe Cardona were absent for unknown reasons.
Kony Ealy, who was injured during organized team activities, did not participate but was present at the start to go through the stretching line. He wore a T-shirt and hat, so it was evident that he wasn’t ready to practice. Considering the Patriots didn’t place him on the PUP list, it seems possible Ealy could practice in the near future.
Dont’a Hightower and Alan Branch, who are both on the PUP list, worked out on the side field.
