Training camp observations: Rob Gronkowski dominates Jaguars

The Patriots have wrapped up their 11th practice of training camp and their second joint practice with the Jaguars. They were in full pads for the ninth consecutive practice. Here are the Herald’s observations.

Attendance notes:
The Patriots had their most absences of camp, as Matthew Slater was out again, and Tony Garcia, Shea McClellin, Eric Rowe and Trevor Bates were also missing for the first time.

Nate Solder, Mike Gillislee, Danny Amendola, Malcolm Mitchell, James O’Shaughnessy and David Jones again didn’t participate in team drills because they departed for the conditioning field.

Dont’a Hightower (PUP), Alan Branch (PUP) and Andrew Jelks (NFI) remained out.
